Serving clients nationwide, this company has a wide portfolio of products and services including IT solutions, consulting, and support services. Striving to grow, they asked Hire Velocity to generate a list of qualified, available, and interested candidates for consulting positions over a two-month period

Hire Velocity worked as this company’s trusted partner to generate a comprehensive list of qualified, available, and interested candidates for the open positions. We have worked with this company in the past to perform these services with two other positions. Due to the impressive results, they came back when they needed another position filled.

The project initially started as a four-week process with a team of four recruiters. In those four weeks, Hire Velocity generated over 950 names. The next four weeks were spent calling the candidates to ensure that they were qualified, available, and interested per the client’s requirements.

Results

The client expressed their satisfaction with the service throughout the engagement.  They were very delighted with the results. In a total of eight weeks, Hire Velocity generated a total of 953 names, which was reduced to 83 qualified, available, and interested candidates. Not only that, this company now has a talent map of 533 consultants to use in future hiring initiatives.

By using Hire Velocity’s Recruitment Process Outsourcing solution instead of a traditional contingency agency, this company saved about $92,000. A contingency agency typically charges a fee of 20% of the candidate’s salary. In this case, the target consultant makes a minimum of $150,000 a year, which yields a contingency fee of $30,000 per hire. Assuming the client hires just six candidates from the list of 83 candidates, the Cost Per Hire would be about $6,333 using Hire Velocity versus $30,000 with the contingency firm.   That is a substantial savings to the client!
