Hire Velocity gives back to the community at the Employment Bootcamp

Tampa, FL

Last week Metropolitan Ministries held its first-ever Employment Bootcamp. The Employment Bootcamp was a five-day event that gave those living at the shelter an opportunity to get assistance on important job search essentials. Many of the participants have not had to search for a job in a long time and benefited from the lessons presented at the Employment Bootcamp.

Hire Velocity’s CEO, Valeri Marks, and CFO, Matt Dawson, volunteered to help by doing mock interviews, reviewing resumes and providing overall coaching and feedback to help participants understand what real world recruiters are looking for.  They were also able to identify some potential job opportunities locally.

Hire Velocity recognizes that it is important to give back to the community and makes an effort to do so whenever possible. Valeri Marks, CEO of Hire Velocity, explains, ““We were honored to have the opportunity to work with Metropolitan Ministries to give back to the Tampa Bay community and help those in need.”  As a national recruiting company, Hire Velocity was able to bring real world experience to the Employment Bootcamp.
