As the Director of Recruiting, RPO at Hire Velocity, John Graves has seamlessly ascended the ranks since joining in July 2019, progressing from recruiter to his current role. With over nine years of experience in team management, John is recognized for consistently surpassing client expectations, solidifying his crucial role within Hire Velocity.

Throughout his tenure, John has held key positions, including Recruiting Operations Manager, Senior Team Lead, Team Lead, and Account Lead, showcasing his diverse expertise and unwavering commitment to achieving high-performance standards.

Prior to his impactful contributions at Hire Velocity, John served as an executive team leader at Target, focusing on training and developing new team members. Holding a master’s degree in Applied Sociology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, John combines academic achievement with practical experience.

Outside of his professional pursuits, John actively contributes to the community, volunteering as the Sponsorship Chair for the annual Atlanta Pride Run, highlighting his dedication to both professional excellence and community involvement.
